What is ERP software?: ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. ERP software is used to manage all aspects of a business, from sales to employees.
What is open-source software?: Open-source software means you can see the code that makes up the software and you are allowed to modify and/or distribute the software under the terms of the license that the software uses. Audemium ERP uses the GNU Affero General Public License. In general, you can download and use this software for your business, but please review the license for specific situations.
How and why is it free?: Once the software is written, the cost of making a copy of it is basically zero. Audemium makes money by doing consulting services for those who use our software. And also, running a small business is hard enough, we don't want to add the cost of software to it.
Are there any requirements to use Audemium ERP?: Audemium ERP is written in PHP, so it requires a server to run the software. You can do this yourself, or you can hire us to set it up for you.
